Call sound issues - others can't hear me during calls and I can't hear them either

Hi,

I have had this phone now for around a month (S22 ultra EU exynos) and this is the 4th or 5th time that has happened to me. I receive a call, I hear the ringtone, I answer the phone but I hear nothing. I try to hang up the person and call myself and hear nothing.????? Only way to solve the problem is restart the phone, like I'm on a windows 98 computer....

This is besides the other problem I have with phone refusing to unlock once a day, I am really getting tired of all this annoying bugs.

Why would a 1400$ phone not be able to receive calls? Has anyone else had similar problems or it's only my unit that is faulty?

I have been suffering from this and tried practically everything possible. My latest trial seems to have solved the solution: Deactivate "hello google"  voice recognition on your phone. Keep us updated how it goes.

How to turn off 'Hey Google' voice commands

You don't have to turn off Google Assistant if you don't need to, though. If you find the "Hey Google" trigger bothersome, turn it off. That way, you can still use the service, but without the hot word. Here's how it's done.

1. Launch the Google app.
2. Tap your profile icon in the upper-right corner.
3. Select Settings.
4. Choose Google Assistant.
5. Select Hey Google & Voice Match under Popular Settings.
6. Toggle off Hey Google.

I just had the problem again this morning. I was hopping it was fixed in One UI 5.0. But it's not the case. 

Hey Google was already disabled on my phone...

Disabling Google doesn't work for me, too. Problem persist with November patch.

i get an error and have to restart....error is i call contact on mobile line and I get through but hear no audio from them.....ok on whatsapp...i am usung dual SIM...seems lots of others have same issue.....is everyone using dual sim here? or do people get this issue with single SIM? I have taken out the second SIM to see if issue persists.....this is a very serious issue samsung as it looks to my contacts that i am making dodgy silent phone calls ...people will sue you samsung unless you 1. accept..2.try to fix..3.compensate....very serious...

I only use one SIM and it is the same problem. Sometimes after a day or 2 sometimes after a week or two. Only solution is to reboot.

Same to me. I only use one SIM. The known problem occurs within 4 to 12 days. The reason is probably the modem, which has problems with 4G carriers or can also fail with 5G carriers in 4G networks. Do you still have the problem after the November patch?
