Blind user. S pen suddenly stopped working

Hello Apologies for any errors I'm visually impaired 

My s pen an essential item as i use the hover magnifier has suddenly stopped working.

I have borrowed another s pen. But it's not mine.

I have reset the s pen & mynscreen recognises it as the small circle appears but i can't actually do anything with the s pen.

I press the s pen button and the menu pops up but again I can't select anything.

It is fully charged.the phone recognised it. But it won't write. Won't hover magnifiy. Won't select anything.

Does anyone know why & what should I do. Don't want to buy a new phone.

Thanks its an s22 ultra. The whole thing has been glitchy today I've had to restart it twice.

Try a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.
