Some times you can get odd issues with older data stored in the Cashe files

Depending on the issues you are experiencing, you can try going into the phone diagnostics in the support section on the Members App

You can try Wiping the Partition Cashe on the phone as well.

Wiping the Partition Cashe clears out a lot of old or corrupted information that can cause issues

Follow the steps below. You must follow every step and you should be done in about a minute

Turn off your phone.

Connect your phone with a USB cable
to PC or another Samsung mobile

You will see the charging icon on your screen.
Wait till it shows charging with battery percentage.

Next, press and hold the Volume up and Side key simultaneously.
You can press the volume up button just before the Side key.
The Samsung Logo followed by
Samsung Galaxy appears on the
screen.

At this point, release the keys
Phone will boot into Android Recovery mode

In Android recovery mode, using Volume keys, choose "Wipe Cache
Partition" .
Use the power button to accept that.
You will then see its cleared.

Then the top option, reboot phone.
Press the power button to reboot the phone and then sign in normally

What issue's exactly are you experiencing with your phone ?

I can only speak for my Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra which is working as it should since the last update however I appreciate issues can happen with people's phones.

Run the diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App to see if this highlights anything @Mamma-Bear

Sone have tried backing up and factory resetting.

Others have sent feedback via their Samsung Members App.

And a Samsung Service Centre can assess the phone.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hey, thanks for taking the time to reply. Your advice & time is greatly appreciated.
I used to be the "go to" person when anything techy was involved. My Mum & my Gran used to have me pulling my hair out in frustration as I tried for the 20 millionth time to show them how to do something as simple as sending a text or setting up a FB profile, they would look at me as if I was speaking a foreign language 🙃. I had my 1st child at 32 & 3 more by 38 & I was lucky if I could figure out how to turn a mobile on! 8 years on & I find it impossible to understand & navigate my way around devices of any kind...my new ipad doesn't have a home button, I can only use it with the aide of Siri. I am telling you all of this as I need to express how utterly, embarrassingly thick I now am in all things techy.
You mention a diagnostic tool that can be found in my Samsung Members Ap....I don't even know how I came across this forum or that there is such an app! So as you can probably guess, I don't use my phone much, my hubby is as bad as the kids with his phone, always on it & his battery lasts until next morn. somehow my phone can start with 100% at 10am, come 4pm it's around 40%. By 7pm it's dead. I have closed all apps. While I was in settings I came across something about sleeping apps. I didn't know what to do & forget how I accessed that piece of information 😳. Soooo now you know how hopeless I am, are you still prepared to help me? Lol 😆
