Anyone else had trouble with apps not installing to the home screen.

I've checked everywhere for a specific app. It's installed and I have to manually search for it

It's very frustrating, seemed to have started after the most recent apps update

Check the homescreen settings. Long hold your finger on an empty area of it. Tap the cog and make sure add new apps to homescreen is enabled still

The exception may be caused by the Game Launcher if the app you were looking for is a game. Anyway, when you find an app that has not been added in the app drawer, long hold the app and tap the +Home icon in the middle of the popout options dialogue

Checked those just now and I'm not seeing an add new apps to home screen option

Maybe they changed it for One UI 4 then, I am going off One UI 3 options here

Yes it's possible as I'm running android one u.i 4.1. I'll try Google

Ahh yes I've just found the app so I've changed the settings so apps no longer download into the game launcher. Thankyou for your help
