Samsung, please bloody stop with the pop up advertisements when i load up the Galaxy Store, £1300 odd quid on a phone, i don't want to keep getting an advert for a rubbish game or app each time i open the store!

Hey @Esurient, you can disable Galaxy Store ads by launching the app > Menu (bottom right) > Settings cog (top right) > Ads Privacy Settings > Toggle the switch next to 'Personalised ads, ad measurement, audience insights and product development' OFF > Confirm My Choices.

I think the OP is referring to the crappy add about games that happens all the time. There are always two options, Do not show again, and close, but it only applies to that particular game. The settings that you mention will not change that behaviour.

Samsung really could put a toggle to stop show the stupid game adds, I am sure that people who game will the games no matter what. For the rest of us, it is just a waste of time and space.

I can confirm that the possible solution on that thread does not work at all.

Those settings only apply to personalised adds. It is something that I do from the word go, but I still get the same annoying question all the time.

I've personally just resorted to automatically dismissing the pop up and getting on with my day.

There is no other option and it does not matter which button one clicks.

Clicking on the closest is the best workaround.

Hit the button that says don't display again

Unfortunately that'll only mean that particular  app advert won't show again.

It'll still show other app ads.

So hit the don't show this again button. I only get one a day. How the devs or add company's pay to display this.
