I was looking this morning at the A53 5g for my partner and it still stated £100 casback so I ordered it, just checked and the offer has disappeared, I got in touch with Samsung via chat and they said the offer ended on the 20th December so won't honour cashback, surely this is false advertising...?

No not yet.  I should have received by Monday 16.1.23.  Samsung have told me that due to the popularity of the promotion payments are delayed, unfortunately, they cannot give a timeframe :(.  Quite disheartening , when I have previously received free items from promotions within 4 weeks.
