you've already gotten some good advice here, but to clarify: generally, a certain amount of tangible warmth or heat is not unusual during use of the device, especially when you are charging it at the same time. However, no external heat should be noticeable when your smartphone is on standby and not charging. If your Galaxy S22 Ultra gets uncomfortably warm even in normal use, I recommend having it checked. In that case, please contact the support at 06196 77 555 77 (Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm). They will discuss all further steps with you.
If you're from Austria, please contact their Samsung service. In Switzerland please contact the swiss customer support.
Additionally, if you notice that your device warms up only while using a certain app, like WhatsApp, you may also try clearing the app's cache or reinstalling it. I definitely recommend checking that both your device and the app are up to date.
