Wrong quickshare name

I have tried sending a photo via quickshare from my S21  5g to my wife's flip4.   WHen my wife get the request to share, it has a different name shown as sending...eg My phone name is bill but shows as ted on recipient.  How do I fix this

Was the phone purchased brand new @Ewankidd or was it purchased from someone else ?

It's a conundrum why the name would be different if your phones name in your quickshare settings in Connected Devices under Phone Name is your own.

It was new. However I think I have solved it. There was a contact on my wife's phone that seemed to have a corrupted number. Deleted that contact and everything seems to work fine.

I should add, the contact had the name that was showing against my phone. No idea why this would be but deleting it seems to solve the problem
