ever since I've updated to UI 5.1 the WiFi connection hasn't been working properly when using apps. the connection is still solid and the speed is as per usual (when I can get the speed test app to work) but when loading an app I get a loading screen or something similar. an example is on twitter, my timeline takes a long time to refresh and and video/photos don't load up at all. on mobile data 4g/5g everything is working perfectly. has anyone else been experiencing similar issues?

Same issue experienced on my SM-G998B (Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G).

Many connection issues with "No service" and "Emergency calls only" in an area where network coverage usually is 3 bars out of 4 with 5G coverage.

Side by side with another Samsung (not update) but with same carrier has no issues connecting/navigating to/with mobile data or wifi.

Same As me. On My S21 The Internet Speed got worse. And battery as well. I hope Samsung fixed that in the next update!!!

You guys could try resetting your network settings only and see if it helps.

Already done. It doesn't solve the issue

Have you got Google WiFi Provisioner running in your apps by chance?
I heard people are having WiFi issues and have narrowed it down to that app from Google.
I've disabled the app with no WiFi issues here.

Same problem here, on s21 😬

Wifi is online and it just doesn't work connections time out. Wifi comes back within a min or two but phone does not say wifi is off in that time.

Have this same issue as well on my S22 ultra - tried various things to resolve but it occurs on different SSIDs, both 2.4 and 5.0 GHz, app cache clears, forgetting networks and re-adding, and after rebooting. Apps using location work just fine on mobile data for me too...

Actually I tried everything, but the only thing that worked was flashing an older firmware on my Asus router. But now I have no problems. So if the problem is the phone or the router or a mix for me is a good question.
