WiFi and mobile data toggled on (battery drain)

Hi guys,

 If both WiFi and mobile data are both toggled on, does this lead to increased battery drain? Do most people keep both WiFi and data toggled on or do you only toggle on when needed?

@mun_96 Hello, if you have activated the options: Switch to mobile data and Activate Wifi automatically, the phone will choose the best instant connection, so they are not active simultaneously at any time. Those two options are found in Settings / Connections, the three points on the top right /Advanced.

@mun_96: I personally toggle Wi-Fi on when in range of a router, and toggle Mobile Data when I'm out and about. It shouldn't have too much of an effect on your battery life, if any, if you leave both options toggled on, but it may lead to unwanted background data usage which is easily avoidable if you toggle the appropriate option depending on your location. Just to add to the post above by @Ventor, you need to go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > 3 dots > Advanced to access the automated options.
