whatsapp pictures

did anyone else notice that if you take a photo on your phone and then you want to send that in whatsapp (so not take the photo directly with whatsapp camera) the photo is always upside down?

any idea how to fix this?

First thing i would try is uninstall and reinstall the app. if not try and clear phone cache that might sort the issue out.

No is to do with pic being saved as heic not JPEG...in camera settings...some apps don't like it and thus they display it upside down
