Should I ever encounter anything so exciting as such a thunderstorm I would (1) ensure my safety and that of my friends and loved ones and then (2) film every second of it in a 4K 30 or 60fps video and try to pull as dramatic a screenshot of it as I could.. Or (3) try and grab as long an exposure in pro photo mode as I could after securing my phone in a tripod or whatever?.. For me (2) would be my option of choice. Never underestimate the power of a screenshot.👍👍

Wow seems like you have got it planned out rdy... safety is a must though and where I work im hoping to capture some decent thunder and lightning if it will happen that is.
