Hi.

 Is there a way to check how long you have left on your Samsung warranty with out the receipt or spending 2 hours talking too customer support.

When did you buy your phone? The warranty is 24 months for smartphones, so if you can remember roughly when you bought it you can work it from that. It's a shame it isn't listed in Device and battery care though.

Nope, just looked. It gives in-depth info about the device but not the warranty left, seems an odd omission really

Odd, you'd think it would be listed there after all they have an entry for Samsung Care+

Ah right, it's most likely the same expiry if you have care plus but there's nothing at all given if you don't

I have sent feedback asking them to add it and pointing out they could in theory sell warranty extensions or upgrades to care+ through members app that way. You have to give them an incentive to add features sometimes 🤪

@Ginga_p: If you reach out to our Help Desk via the link below, and have your model number, serial number and IMEI number to hand, then an advisor will be able to check your remaining warranty for you. All relevant information can be found in Settings > About Phone.

Our system will calculate the warranty based on the manufacture date, but if you have your proof of purchase then the warranty will be valid for 24 months from the purchase date.

Thanks everyone. As you say doesnt seem to have the info any where on when you registered the products or how long a warranty is left. Thought it might have been stashed in small corner. Maybe something for the future. Thanks again
