I had a very unpleasant experience at the store in so many ways, that I still have sour taste in my mouth.   First I presented my S6 phone that was in good working condition which the Samsung site when I checked qualified for a trade in and the store rep said no.  Ok I have had that S8 active phone for 6 years and though with 5G here I should make the plunge.   So I realized that having owned Samsung phones before I knew my way around, however I did not get a user manual or any email notification from the wireless provider or Samsung. 

So with that negative experience behind me, where in the world can I located the user manual?

in settings, search "Tips and user manual" near the bottom of the list is an icon called user manual, that takes you to the online version.
