Upgrade question - How to return previous phone?

So upgrade question ... when I get new phone how do I send my previous device back . Will they send me something to post it in or how does it work

yeah they will send out the an envelope etc

You'll be sent a pre-paid returns package so you can send your old phone back to us safely. We ask that you return your trade-in handset within 7 days of receiving your new handset.

nope they didn't.. and it's fine because my friend has taken over payment of old phone
