Has anyone had trouble waking up or even locking their phone since the latest update today

My Tab A7 now running UI 3.1 doesn't respond on the lock screen either after charging either quickly or slowly since the latest update. I have reported it as an error and suggest you do the same.

Have you tried wiping cache partition from the recovery?

Sorted on my settings. Just a double tap..who needs buttons

I've had the same ,smart lock not working since up date..Reset many times ?

I know it's a pain. Still not working but double tapping on screen locks it but I keep pressing the stupid side button 🙃. To turn off the phone I stroll down twice at the top to get to turn off but it was easier just to press and hold if I wanted to do it quickly. Now they want me to hold the volume down button as well.

Phone died completely and wouldn't even reboot 🙄 arranged to take it to store but decided to try the next morning. Rebooted and working fine. What a parlava but now all things working as they should buttons and all.
