Update

When is the May update coming out in the UK. Why are samsung so slow pushing their updates out. That's my only bugbear with them.

I have been checking it as well.
Although I'd prefer a good update then a quick one which breaks the phone.

That's the reason they stagger it as well so if any bugs appear the are easy to squash.

It has been pushed out in Germany as many on here including yourself probably know jubbs46 so it is out there and should be here shortly. I don't know why there seems to have been a little delay in it coming to the UK?. I hope it has not had to be pulled or delayed due to a bug or something but this is unlikely as there is no mention of this on the likes of Android Authority. Hope it comes this week anyway and I must confess to checking for it three times a day albeit patiently.. Sort of.. 🤣. When it does drop you can be sure it will be on this forum within minutes. Keep checking mate as well as looking for the update manually on your phone and maybe this update will be worth the wait with some useful camera improvements and the like. I believe it is a big update at around 1.1Gb in size.. 👍 👍

The last one was big as well. So it could have been the same one. Not sure though.

It has been delayed due to a Google certification issue! Saw it on a previous post on here

Hi, i would say its good to wait. The April Update was rolled out by samsung days before google pixels recieved them around 25th March. It was a big update with camera improvements. I updated with excitement but since then i am struggling with a bug with my camera. My main sensor is producing blurry images. Had to factory reset the phone. Had to send the phone for repair to samsung which came back after a week saying they found no hardware issues to be repaired but when i checked the problem was still there. I am eagerly waiting for this update hoping it will fix it. Checking for it almost every 2 hours. So even though it is delayed i hope when it finally arrives, it fixes all the existing bugs and won't be causing any new bugs.

Never seen any update fixes from Samsung with this phone. They just seem to create new problems!

My ultra still won't upload on 5g or 4g above 16mbps whereas my S20 would reach 30mbps in the same place.
These phones are trash. Samsung updates are rubbish.

Bear in mind BTW sometimes Samsung calls the next months security update prior to Google issuing it. Its quite easy to push an update with August 2021 security update if you know the line of code to change. Samsung have been caught doing just this in the past.
The changelogs are woefully inadequate and vague.
