Ungrouping photos in Gallery?

Hi

I have this issue where if I take a lot of photos in succession samsung gallery decides to group them together which I hate so much.

Is there are way to ungroup them as for the life of me I can't find any option to do it. 

As a work around I can use the google gallery as it doesn't group the photos .

It's those boxes, click to enable or disable.

How did you do it?  I see the button but clicking on it only opens the collection of the 3 similar photos and I want all 3.  Uggggh!

Omg, I know your pain. I almost exploded. I take photos for work. Not even the same photo, just similar. Thanks for sharing how to sort it out. 👍

How the hell do you undo it. I did it accidentally and now it's stuck like that and it won't undo

Try clicking the three dots in the corner, and see if there's an option to "ungroup similar images". This just worked for me on my S22 Ultra.

Open the gallery, tap on the squares on the top right.

Have to tap on the squares when you first open the galary.
