hello @jetmechco

SMS and MMS are two ways to send what we commonly refer to under the umbrella term as text messages. The most simple way to understand the difference is that SMS refers to text messages, while MMS refers to messages with a picture or video.

check if your Messaging app has this activated

Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Access point names → tap your network → under APN type → check if has mms, normally it should contain: default, supl, mms

thanks 😉

Mms messages may need to be provisioned on your account by your network provider as they typically cost to send each one and they have a file size restriction too.

You'll also need a stable 3G signal as a minimum.

Your Apn's will need to be right for mms too.

Launch messages, press the 3 little dots in the top right hand corner and choose settings,  more settings,  multi media messages and under restrictions choose free.

Personally I choose to use Facebook Messenger,  WhatsApp and email to send photo's as it's free this way and no file size restriction.

I wish you all the best with this.
