Unable to screen cast from S21 Ultra

I've tried a bunch of different "solutions" to get the screen cast to work. Downloaded Google Home and a bunch more apps.

Google Home is the one that came closest to working. It worked once on the main "volume" screen, but after opening another app, now it all it does is freeze on opening, and won't cast anything. 

Is anyone else having this problem? It can't just be me.

I have a Vizio TV --- Model: V705-J03

And my Samsung S21 Ultra 5G

Model: SM-G998U

One UI : 4.0

OS : Android 12

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also get this notification:

"NOTE: This device is not optimized for casting, so your experience may vary."

Have you tried using this?

I have, but when I use it, it can't find my TV, but it can find some other random person's TV in my apartment complex. 

The Google home app can find my TV, though, and I'm at a loss as to why the Samsung smart view can't, while Google Home can.
