Unable to move items to Secure Folder

With the new updates I am unable to move items from my gallery to ##SecureFolder in my Galaxy S21 5G. It happened after the latest update. Earlier update stopped#WhatsApp being unable to download contents from Dual App, #Samsung pointed the finger at third party, now with Secure Folder. I am not too sure who to turn to now, I hope Samsung doesn't keep on saying us to use the phone without applications after spending some dollars on their phone, or ask us to reset the phone for something that happens to multiple user

first, copy or move that image/video/file into a different folder or album. Then try to move or copy that new image/video/file into secure folder. Hope your problem will be solve.

Same here. I got my S22 Ultra about a month now and I am unable to move any files, pictures or short clips, to the secure folder. I just noticed the issue now. I checked the Software version and the last time I updated was June 1, 2022. I should have left the update alone.

Very frustrating when new update introduced bugs.

Samsung please address it quick.

Hi, I had the same problem. I moved the WhatsApp images and videos to a new folder in my regular gallery, and then moved that whole folder to my secure folder...seems to work. Hope this helps

Hey, I had the same exact problem. What worked for me is moving the files to another folder on the phone (not the secure folder. E.g. I used Screenshots folder) and then from that folder I moved the files to secure folder. Give it a go and see if it works for you.

Thanks guys for all the steps to move the files to the another folder then to the Secure folder. That way works but too many steps to do a simple thing which used to work in one step. Samsung shouldn't have messed up in the first place. Thanks for all the reply guys.
