After the (actually pretty significant) February update, did you wipe the cache partition? If so, did you see any improvement before and after wiping the cache.
Is there really no risk involved?

Thanks

Hi, I always clean cache partition on all my devices after a software update.
No there's no risk as long as you press on clean cache partition.

I always wipe the cache partition after a firmware update... it is best practice.

Unlike Factory Reset, it does not erase your data, etc; and merely clears out the cache partition that stores the temporary files which may cause issues with a new update.

Quick, simple and easy to do but can help with a lot of issues.

As per the above video, you need to connect your phone via USB to a PC.

I never notice any difference when I do this and always wonder why this would not be included in the update if it was important.

Does this have proven advantages and if so why isn't it automated as part of installing a firmware update?
