Help, had a galaxy 21 and it wants receive texts, can phone and text, but can't receive any

Hey @Suzib ,

 

Try the following steps: turn off your phone, take the SIM out, wipe it, and put it back in. Once done, ensure that the phone's software and apps are all up to date. To check if there is any pending software update head into: Settings> Software update> Download updates manually. In order to ensure that all the apps are up to date, you will need to head into the Galaxy Store and Play Store and go to your apps. If there is any pending update available, update the pertinent apps.
 
If this is the case, try to clear the Messages app cache and data by heading into: Settings > Apps > Menu (3 dots top right) > Show System Apps > Messages > Storage > Clear cache and then Clear data. If the persist contact your network provider to check whether there are any blocks/restrictions on your account, whether there is any network maintenance in the area and whether the carrier settings on your device need updating.

also try turning rich communications off and then on which can be found in settings connection settings, more connection settings
