Texting with Samsung Keyboard

Hi,

I have noticed when typing onto Forumns the typing starts fine but then it goes haywire.Some text is in middle of page, the cursor disappears back up the sentence I have just typed etc..so no post can be typed.

All was fine in my old S8 so I,m presuming there is a simple fix in my S21.

Any help would be much appreciated

I had the same issue when I updated my Fold³ to Android 12 @Gerrymac 

At first I resolved this temporarily by turning Off predictive text and or used Gboard.

I ended up resetting the Samsung Keyboard which resolved the issue.

When your Samsung Keyboard is open i.e while on a reply or in your Samsung Messaging app tap on the settings and then reset to default settings.

Ok...Will try that..Typing with text, WhatsApp etc... is fine although I find there is a bit of lag while using WhatsApp.

Yes I found the keyboard was fine on the Samsung Messaging App etc but misbehaved on this forum and the UK Vodafone Community forum too @Gerrymac

Reset and turned off Pre Text...worked a treat.Will reactive Pre Text and see if the problem still persists. Had to go over what I had typed as my thumbs r too big.. 🤣 🤣

Just an update on this..seems to have worked OK. Predictive text turned back on and all is good.
