Spotify issue

Since I updated to android 12 last night I have an issue with Spotify.

Previously when listening to music, I could lift my phone and moved to next track without unlocking my phone. 

Now the app fails to appear. 

Anyone Know a workaround?

I have s20+ and when on beta Spotify would cut out during the song and only start when awakening the screen again.. Reported to beta team but today have received stable release and still does this. I'm guessing a compatibility issue on Spotifys side with android 12

Do you mean by using the lockscreen widget to skip songs?

Yes. Got it working as you said by configuring the widget. Learning everyday.
