Spotify Controls Missing on Lock Screen

The Spotify controls are missing on my lock screen and I can't find how to get them to appear. The Music widget does not resolve this issue.

So I had the same.e problems as everyone. I closed spotify. Locked my screen the tapped my clock to show what widgets are running. It said no music playing. Clicked play music and selected spotify. Once spotify opened the music was on my lock screen and led case cover to operate.

Well I tried every possible way an nothing worked. Than I just tried to switch my phone to english (because im not native english speaker) and just go to settings->widgets, and than turn on music.....when I did it in my native language it didn't work. So if there is anyone with this struggle when nothing works, this could be a solution...

This worked. I used it for my S22 Ultra. 4/6/22. You can also change the notifications from there so you don't get all of them that the app sends.

1. slide down from top

2. tap on Device Control

3. tap on the settings (3 dots on the top right) then choose settings

4. turn on "Use while phone is locked"

S21 FE.. there is no "Use whole phone is locked" option.. :'(

Maybe you need to update your OS. Not sure though. This is what my settings look like from "Device Control".

You may also try: 

While your fone is locked, drag down the clock from your lockscreen.

Its updated already.. we will see in the next update.. and yes.. i can see "widget" when i drag down the clock..

I'm sure you've done a good amount of research but if you havent gotten a solution - if you're using Good Lock, you need to add the music controls manually through the app!!
