Sound from videos cut when sent by WhatsApp

Hi, when I send a vidéo (taken on s21ultra, modified or not) by WhatsApp, the sound is removed. When I use another video editor than the native Samsung then it's fine. Any explanation? Thanks

Hello Samsung support.

I have the same issue. When using the video editor on a video (to make it shorter for example) the sound gets removed from the video when sent in Whatsapp (for me and receivers).  All unedited videos is being sent with sound as normal in Whatsapp.

Fix this please!

Exactly the same problem as mine. I have s21 ultra, when I send my video to whatsapp, it is always muted😔😔😔. I always made sure that the volume is UNMUTE before sending, but still...So, I always end up deleting my sent video to whatsapp.

This has been happening to me since November/December last year. There's been a few Samsung Android system updates and WhatsApp updates via Google Play Store as well. It's an absolute joke this isn't fixed yet.

It seems to be a Samsung issue as no one I know who doesn't have a Samsung Galaxy S21 has this issue, so I might even go to another manufacturer for a new device when my contract is up with my network. I've had Samsung phones for  12 years and never had issues until now.
