Screen goes bright when unlocking the phone

The issue with s21 fe, I do have the adaptive screen off and turned off the screen bright under the face unlock and still going bright.

Turned off the face unlock and the issue still going on. 

Any ideas?

Are you using fingerprint unlock?
I have just got a s21 fe and have noticed the same, my s21 didn't do it but the s21 fe has a different type of fingerprint sensor so I assume it's to do with that.

Yes I am. If this is the reason why no way I am keeping this phone. That's just ridiculous lol

But does the screen goes super bright whne you press the side key and when you unlock it goes down.. That's weird no?
