HI, my Samsung S21 Ultra new phone's screen has become unresponsive. It did it as well yesterday for about an hour. I can't use it at all, or even turn it off.
Any suggestions? I have already spent god knows how many hours getting this phone because of Vodafone's incompetence.....I really can't bare to spend more hours on the phone not working 😞

try the soft reset
press and hold the power and volume down keys for 10 seconds

hold and power down, the device with turn off or reboot.
If you manage to turn it off plug it into your pc and turn it on by pressing power button and volume app, from recovery mode perform a wipe cache partition.
If the touch is still unresponsive and you did not drop it, it means you clearly have a defective phone. if you have had it for less than 14 days you should press vodafone in order to have your device replaced, instead of sending it into a repair shop, this way the process will be much easier for you timewise
