Try use the phone until the battery is completely dead and put it on charge with a normal charger

Hi @glen94

If the battery has swollen then I'd suggest to power it down and don't put it on charge.

Samsung take instances like this very seriously so please visit a Samsung Service Centre or Samsung Experience Store or contact Samsung Support for your region ASAP so they can arrange to assess the phone and advise accordingly.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

When the battery gives up and explodes it's a really nasty / dangerous event, swelling is the first stage of this (unstable components), I would definitely not feed it any more juice/electricity.

I hope you get it sorted, follow @BandOfBrothers advice and contact support

All the best

What ever you do, don't keep charging it up. You need to have the battery replaced and you'll probably have to pay for it I'm afraid.
