@StuRho: For clarity, are you listening to your music through a Bluetooth headset or speaker? If so, head to settings > Sounds and Vibration > Separate App Sound > Turn On Now > Select the relevant app and audio device, and this way you should be able to continue listening to your music while recording a video.
