Brand new phone will not update from Samsung at all. There is a software update waiting but it keeps saying its failed. I have disconnected the WiFi and tried that way but nothing. I have disconnected the Bluetooth and checked everything. Turned the phone off and on again and still it will not update. Can anyone suggest anything else or its going back!!!

Have you tried updating via Smart Switch on pc?

Save your data and factory reset the device. You could try updating using Smart Switch for PC. Perhaps clearing system cache may work.

Use the reset as your last option.

I mean you should connect your phone to your PC , run Smart Switch on the PC and it will update the phone if there is an update available.

No, a tablet can't run Smart Switch for PC.

Depends... I hooked up a Tab A (8.0", 2019) to my PC, and Smart Switch detected it straight away. Although my tablet doesn't need updated, I has detected the current update, which us UF8.

The OP wants to use their tablet to update their S21 not update their tablet.
