There are a couple of reasons Samsung Pay won't work @Members_WHcfo5F

  1. Samsung Pay isn't available in a particular region.
  2. A Bank hasn't come onboard to let Samsung Pay work.
  3. A phone is a grey import or imported/ released for another country and then is being used in another country. I had this issue when I imported a Samsung Note 20 Ultra from Hong Kong to the UK.

One way to tell is to download the CPU-Z or phoneINFO app from the Playstore and check what the active CsC is. Then check what yours should be via a Google search.

You can also see what your CsC is via Seftings, About Phone Software Information,  Service Provider Information a bit further down the screen and it will be the last 3 alphabet at the end.

For example mine is EUX.

if your phone isn't imported and your bank supports Samsung Pay then look at going into Settings,  Apps, Samsung Pay, Storage and clear the cache and data.

Sometimes deleting the app and downloading the app can help too.

Samsung Support via Chat or phone or a Samsung Experience Store  / Samsung Service Centre should be able to help too.

I wish you all the best with this situation.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

The newest phones, 2021 models, do not support Magnetic Secure Transmission/MST with Samsung Pay; they now only support NFC.

If its NFC problems you're having, try a simple reset by switching your phone off and back on again; this simple trick can reset bugs in apps.
