Samsung Pay card

Help! I can't seem to understand the idea behind the Samsung pay card and why I need to go through it or curve to successfully store my cards on Samsung pay. 

It's coming across to me like something similar to a credit card or am I totally wrong ?

Basically Sammy couldn't do any deals with mainstream banks in the UK so they partnered with Curve to do the work for them. I use curve on samsung and works gr8 everywhere.

my bank (tsb) is not supported by samsung pay, so to get samsung pay to work on my watch i had to use curve who do support tsb

yes, its basically a way for samsung to support banks that wont add samsung pay there payment methods

Samsung Pay doesn't support Barclaycard. Going to Curve does the business. Curve support are little slow at helping but the service works fab.
