samsung not sending text message to one contact only

Hi.  My Samsung (S20 ultra) has stopped sending messages to one contact.  I have called and spoke to person so know the number is not an issue or I'm blocked.  Its just the text message.

I have reset the phone, switched on and off. 

Any other suggestions please?

Have u tried message a different number to see the problem?? if it's just one number ur blocked and maybe need to contact ur network provider.

hi. yeah I've messaged a few other numbers no.priblem at all

I'm not blocked as I rung the number and got through no problem at all. the issue seems to be text messaging only

contact them and they can run test on ur sim card and send you a new one. I had a similar situation and they replaced the sim card.

it could be to do with rcs messaging I had this issue
