samsung messages app screen wake up.

Is there Any Way too turn off the "Screen wake up" when recieving a message? Or do I have too use another app.

Go to settings, notifications, brief pop up settings and turn off show while screen is off.

That did not work, my screen still wakes up when recieving a SMS.
