Facebook messenger stopped working and will not allow me to open the app I've deleted, restarted and reinstalled it but nothing yet it works on all my other devices.

You may need to clear the Partition Cache on your phone
This will clear out all the cookies and temporary files
So usually sorts out most problems

I've cleared everything even rest all my settings and nothing works. I've managed to download the messenger lite app that seems to work but it's not as good as the main messenger.

When you uninstall the app from your phone also go into your Playstore and delete it from your MyLibrary.

That way your then installing a totally fresh app @CharlotteW92
