So, for about 2 weeks now I have been getting a notification from two of my apps stating that during my sleep they have been killed.

So I went into settings, battery and device care, battery, background usage restrictions. Pressing never sleeping apps or sleeping apps and pressing the + sign only shows 16 apps which are apps I recently installed.

I installing an app and reinstalling it will add to that list to be selected...

Strange behaviour, any advice?

Might be worth going into Settings,  Apps, choose the app and check it's preference settings etc @Specialist

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Done all of that already, cycled through the options to make sure.

OK.

When deleting the app from your phone also go into the Playstore and your MyLibrary and delete it from there and then re download the app as then it should be a fresh copy.

Also clear it's cache in settings,  Apps , choose the app,  storage then clear cache and if absolutely necessary clear data.

Yes this works as intended, but I shouldn't be required to uninstall and reinstall all my apps to put them on the no kill, no sleep list...
