S22 series

Hi guys/girls

 Just interested to know what you want to see in the next series of galaxy phones?

 I have to say personally the s21 ultra (exynos) has been near perfect for me,but there are some things I'd like to see in the s22.

 1)faster charging

 2)under display camera (or something similar to hide the hole punch)

 3)slight tweets to the camera(maybe get rid of the x100 zoom),the cameras are pretty excellent to be fair.

 4)a more compact size "6inch" with the same specs as the bigger model(I know this won't or can't happen)

 5)apps draw that scrolls up and down rather than sideways.

 I think at the moment for real world use the s21 ultra is pretty much the best there is 💪.

 I honestly think we get to hung up on cameras and not enough on other aspects,I mean cameras in phones are good if not great.

 Anyway love to know what you guys think 👍

Heard about the Olympus collaboration let's see how it goes.

I would love a zoomable telephoto lens like the New Sonys . That would be cool.

Samsung still need to up their photo processing so that photos don't look muddy or painterly like.

I would rather their finese the S21 ultra cameras and stick to 5000 battery in future phones.
Overall they are moving in right direction.
They need to stop making to many variants of phones and concentrate on quality and not quantity.

Pixel shift to prevent screen burn in with their OLED technology. LG do this so why don't Samsung?

Under screen selfie camera. It's been talked about for years and the rumours are that the S22 range will be the first to incorporate it.

Either larger internal storage or the return of sd card use. Oh, and larger, faster charging battery.

According to a well known leaker Ice Universe  (who has been pretty reliable in the past) specifications for the S22 series are very similar and if so would not be a major advance in the short term,though cameras enhanced a bit.    Base model expected to be 6.06 inches and slight Battery downgrade for the S22 and S22 Plus, though need to see how efficient the processors are.  Another leaker believes  Snapdragon 898 processors will be used for most of the devices.

However launch a while away  and by no  means official,  we will need to see if these indications are correct.

The latest speculation is  that there will be no under display camera  in the S22 series but upgrades to the rear cameras including a 50 MP main sensor, 12 MP tele camera  including 3x optical magnification (may involve variable focal length) and a 12 MP ultra wide module.

The tie up with Olympus seems to be no longer on the cards as the manufacturer has denied a link up with Samsung. However this does not mean there was not talks earlier.

Apparently the S22 will be unveiled on 8 February,  a Samsung representative  said to have confirmed this to South Korean publication. However still to await official word from Samsung Uk. According to 9 to 5 Google,  and other sites (seems based on recognised leaker)  the S22 range may be more expensive than originally expected.
