Having just updated to the new May software, has anyone else found the boot recovery menu changed ? Before anyone replies with the simple instructions, I have always powered to phone off, used a USB C to my laptop, and then waited for the battery percentage to show on screen after the phone has turned off.
Simply pressing power button and volume up, would bring up the android boot menu... click wipe cache... job done.
However, it seems with the new release of software, the boot menu is not accessible in this same way, at least on my phone it is proving to be a problem to access the recovery menu.
Anyone else experiencing this when trying to clear the cache after update ??

You need to hold power and vol down and when the screen goes blank after the logo press vol up.

In fact it seems that I had another USB device conflicting with the Samsung on my PC... figured it out and got to the boot menu.
Thanks 😀

@kimmyk i havent had a chance to try anything yet. Please provide some examples of what does not work for you ?
It is not very helpful to just say 'nothing works anymore'. You need to add some facts to that statement ?? I will be giving it a test over the next couple of days in terms of benchmarks, camera and other features to see what has been improved.
