It depends on how many units Vodafone have ordered from Samsung and then how many orders Vodafone have taken for their phone's.
Other factors are colour of the phone and storage capacity ordered.
If you look on Vodafone's Online Shop Page you'll see what they are currently showing as a lead time for your chosen model.
Also if you speak with their customer services via phone or Live Chat or if in the UK their Social Media Team's they should be able to give a more precise indication of when you should receive your phone.
Alternatively you could cancel the new contract or upgrade and go through an independent who has the phone in stock i.e Carphone Warehouse in the UK.
Or if disposable income allows change to Sim Only and buy the phone directly from Samsung @Barthez2305
