S21 Ultra Google Play Update

For some unknown reason, my S21 Ultra isn't updating with the July update for Google Play. It seems to go through all the processes but never gets actually updated. I've tried about a dozen times but no go. I'm doing it using Settings>Security and Privacy>Updates clicking on Google Play it says that there is an update of 43mb in size, click download and install, then it processes and says Restart needed. Restart phone, takes a while to optimise apps, when finally up and running, go back to Updates and it still shows 1 June 2023 as the latest. If I click on it again, it starts the whole process again and ends up with the same results! It's running Exynos in UK on OneUI 5.1 with July update installed. Anybody got any ideas please?

Hi my s21 ultra also never done the July update so I read a few pages and found out that when your out of contract you only get certain updates. So today I've had the aug update everything is running fine.

Also my son has a s22 and since he done the July update his screen is freezing so I think there many have been some issues with that update.

All, finally managed to get the update to July to complete the installation process. Didn't do anything differently, it seems to have just decided on its own to do it all properly! Thanks and regards
