s21 ultra exynos - my opinion

Hi guys

Just wanted to give my opinion on my s21 ultra exynos version.

So before I got my phone I done a bit of research, I mean spending £1000+ I'd be mad not to.i had concerns about about the overheating issues some people were having and the whole exynos v Snapdragon debate.

But in the end I decided to take the plunge and I got to be honest I'm so glad I did.ok yeah it's expensive but it really is a premium phone,I've had many many phones in the past and this is definitely the most premium of them all.and I love my phones I currently own 4 of them it's an addiction 😅.

Anyway like I said I have the exynos version (UK) and these are my pros and cons.

Pros:

1) battery is pretty solid,I'm currently on 77% battery with 3.5 hours SOT

2)it's super smooth just like my OnePlus 8t which is impressive

3)the display is just beautiful 😍

4)it's packed full of features,so much so I'll probably never even find them all

5)the design build of the phone is beautiful (I have the black one)

6)not had any overheating issues,the phone got warm when I transferred my data over from one of my other phones but I mean warm not "hot"

7)oh yeah the cameras are brilliant,I mean I'm not really one for taking lots of pictures so I'm no expert but definitely the best I've used on a phone.

Cons:

1)no charger/headphones in the box,I mean if you spend this much on a phone Samsung should give you the option to receive one free of charge if you don't have one already.

2)the phone is big,now this can be a pro or con,me personally I like it but just thought I'd put it in cons to fill the space😂

I would also like to give a mention to Samsung customer service who have been brilliant and the Samsung community some helpful people out there 👍.

Anyway that's my thoughts,thank you for coming to my Ted talk 😉

can you send a screen shot of your battery usage when you're on low battery to see what is using the battery up.
have you done a partition cache wipe?

I have messaged Samsung and I will be wanting an exchange I don't trust my phone being repaired then being sent back to me usually they f things up, plus idk if it will be as watertight after they seal it back up not willing to take chances, it just sucks that I will have to wait. 😖

anyways I'm just upset really support team have been dreadful I've been trying to get something sorted since Monday last week. if you don't mind doing the AIDA64 thing is like to compare.

also how's is your battery life when your phone is fresh out of the charger mine decreases like crazy on my commute to work I listen to music battery drops to 80 on Bluetooth only.

yeah when I fully charge it again I'll do it for you mate.
I think the first 5% of the battery when it's fully charged goes pretty quickly but then it's fine.
I mean I easily get a full day out of mine with around 20-30% battery left,it works out on mine I get 1-1.5 hours of sot for every 10% of battery,so I can easily get 10 hours of sot on a full charge.
have they said when they will sort it out for you?,yeah I'd probably go for a replacement.
how long are you listening to music for it to drop to 80%?

I only listen the length of my journey so just an hour, they told me it would take around 3 days for it to reach the facility then 3-5 to process it then 3-5 days to receive a phone back

Not yet mate,  going to hold off on getting it, feel like I won't touch my phone if I do which would feel like a waste 😂 I'm also wfh at the moment

to be fair your both 100% correct, I only use my phone to call and sometimes I will have a scroll in bed and that's it lol. battery usage is now about 25% a day 😂 to be fair what I like about the tablet is its basically a big version of my phone with a monster battery. I always found that when you went to the tablet you were always losing out on screen quality and poor performance whereas now the tablet is on par with the phone except ram.
