Hi guys,

As you may be aware I've had tonnes of issues with my 3 new S21U models all 512/16gb models and have been through it all with you.

I'm in need of some second opinions on benchmarking as literally all reviewers are getting fanstastic scores on their devices.

Mine , fresh factory reset, 1 week old and only 1 app installed (Geek Bench 5) the best scores I get regardless of settings are

Single core 812
Multi core 2854

Most of the time it sits around
Single core 650-700
Multi core 2500-2600

I was wondering if owners of the same size models could run a geek bench test for me so I can compare them with my 3 and potentially let Samsung know what is going on for us and get a solution faster.

Thanks in advance all.

1 of them are directly from Samsung 1 is from a retailer (sim free) and the final one is on a contract.

I thought the same for they are from 3 completely separate stores and areas, 1 maybe could be so, but the other 2?

doesn't explains Samsung's rush to instantly tell me to get all 3 replaced 😞

thanks for the reply, it's not a bad guess, just leaves me 2 unexplained ones lol.

that's pretty good and close to the highest results I know of for these devices, thanks for taking the time to do it :smiling-face:

I did further testing in more realistic scenarios and the result is horrifying.

as a reference point I used the much older but still Snapdragon enabled A90 5G.

installed Call of duty mobile on the slowest S21U device of the 3 I own and also on the A90.

settings automatically start out 1 tick below max FPS until you're allowed into into the settings on higher end devices.

after completing the introduction (we're talking 5 mins play) on both phones simultaneously, my brand new S21U Exy is sitting at 68.3°C whilst the A90 is laughing at 38.4°C

I had a friend come around and perform the same clear his S21U SD888 device and optimise it for the test and right as rain, after the intro game and so on, his temp is sitting at 35.1°C

I proceeded to follow the test on the final 2 devices I own with no optimisation, just as they are: 57.9°C and 51.0°C after the exact same same 5 min test.

even if I have 3 faulty devices with a bad chip, the Exy just isn't Isnt as capable as the SD888.

at this stage I'd rather have Samsung pass on the Qualcomm Cost to the consumer and let us choose which model we want instead of getting a chipset that is on almost every test and score board slower and outperformed by the US variant..
