S21 Ultra 12-Bit RAW Video

Hi, Samsung UK advised me on twitter that it is possible to film 12-Bit RAW video and that the option is available in the camera options. However, I am unable to find the setting to activate it. Could you tell me how to do it please?

I belive this is activated only when in PRO mode

sorry I didn't realise you asked about video, I thought RAW format was only for photos. let's wait for someone else to reply

Hey @Mzlphoto  and @Vetri ,

RAW format is only applicable to photos on any device. For videos, Samsung uses other formats that can be edit in multiple apps (usually MP4) with the ability to shoot in 8K 30 fps/4K 60 fps.

thanks for your reply! the reason I ask is that in the above advert which is across all carriers and resellers websites in the UK, it says "film cinematic 12-bit raw content" which to me means 12 bit raw video
