S21 FE does not charge after battery protection mode

Hello,

Recently I wanted to test the "battery protection mode" in the android settings which stops charging the device if above or equal to 85% battery.

However, my device does not charge at all now after 1 day! Only inductive charging is possible.
The device does not charge with the option set to ON/OFF.
The device does not charge when it is shut down.
The device does not charge after a reboot.

EDIT: Is it a coincidence that my usb-c port on the device is malfunctioning just one day after enabling the setting? After shutting down my device, connecting the charging cable (nothing happens, just a weird charging screen) and powering up, an error message is being displayed (with a warning sound) that there is water/dust in my charging port...

What can I do?

Clean the port carefully.
Check the cable and charger.

I checked with a second charger (which charges another samsung) but no luck. I also tryed cleaning the port very carefully with no luck. Guess I will just book a repair since it is only 3 months old...
