S21 crashing when zooming to 30x

Received my S21 and happy with it but I went to take a photo today and zoomed to 30x.  The screen went black and I had to press the power on button to turn the phone back on.

Tried a number of fixes - starting safe mode, doing a reset (but not a full factory reset yet), checking for updates... nothing worked.

It's not a huge issue as I can zoom to 29x but just wondered if anyone else is having this issue?

Hi, go into the apps menu, select the camera app & then storage & clear the data & hopefully that should fix the issue.
Let me know, when you've completed the method.

No, mine will zoom through x29 into x30 (just standard Full photo setting) without any problems. Sorry maybe a faulty phone...

Hate to say it but your only option is full factory reset and see what happens.

No luck with that one, cleared cache and data - still crashing, going to try factory reset.

That's very strange, if the factory reset doesn't work contact Samsung customer service straight away.

Factory reset didn't work, going to contact EE or Samsung.

Hi, again if you got your phone from EE contact them & request a replacement if you still desire the S21.
