S21 camera not focusing well

My camera isn't focusing well when I take a picture of an object fairly close up. 

For example if I was to hold a bottle of wine or even take a photo of my hand on my leg for some reason it seems to focus the background rather than the object taking up the forefront.

Does anyone know if this is a settings issue I can change or camera fault?

Make sure 'Focus Enhancer' is on Yellow is On if the circles are white it means off.
The circles should appear as you get closer to subject.

Also you should be able to 'touch to focus or long press to lock or adjust exposure

where will I find focus enhancer? I don't seem to have those circles at all?

They should automatically appear as you move closer to a subject, If their white means its off, yellow means on.

I don't have any circles at all. is this just in photo mode?

Yeah..Its good for the macro closeup shots.
I hope your lenses are clean as they do get smudged easily.

I would have thought it would appear then? I've never seen those two circles. Is there a way to turn them on?

Ok, I believe its only available for the Ultra, so may be not available for the plus variant.

You would have to stay at a minimum focus distance for it to focus.

ahh ok. Mine is just S21 standard. it wasn't working with the 64mp setting on but focuses better with it off. Still no circles though. I'll keep looking. Thank you 😊
