S21 5G Lock Screen button not working after update

Hello,

I just did the latest software update (released on 1st of Oct) for my S21 5G and after the restart the lock button stopped working.

Everything was fine with the button before, any suggestions?

@VrabieFlorin Hello, do you mean physical Power button? If so, in the Help section of Samsung Members / Diagnosis, do the physical button test.

Also after update the PIN buttons for unlocking are so pale they blend into the background on all galaxy phones by look of it

A soft restart by keeping pressed the lower volume button and power button solved the issue.

I have the same problem. Its not the power button, its the lock screen. When u hit the botton to turn the screen of ( not shut down), and later bring ur screen bk up there was a lock screen. Mine had a picture, or it could be a number pattern or finger print ect. But U swipe it to get to ur home screen . And now it gone.
