Hi, have you used the note series before? I don't think the S pen is required unless you will need to do much editing type work on the phone. But if you do e d up going for one then I would highly recommend waiting for the pro version to be out as you have the added function of BT! Very handy when taking group pictures.
My wife bought one for me and I'm really enjoying it. I've been doing some art with Penup, playing Picross type games which I have been addicted to for so long and playing Nintendo DS games using the Drastic emulator. well worth it so far.
